What is Detox?

Detoxification (detox for short) and body cleansing is the removal of toxic substances from the body through a number of natural applications.  In the earlier years detox was mostly known as methods applied in drug and alcohol addictions. Today, however, detox is understood as a safe and effective cleansing protocol to remove dietary and environmental toxins from the body that accumulate due to unhealthy living habits and environmental pollution. These toxins can destroy body tissues and may, over time, lead to serious health consequences. A natural detox program provides the elimination of these toxins and restores your body’s natural balance.

Detoxification is actually a function of the body that occurs regularly and naturally through detoxification organs – liver, kidneys, colon, skin, lungs .  Generally the body will cleanse itself sufficiently if the person has a healthy life style and lives in a healthy environment.
